Hi all!

My partner and I of 4 years currently live in Las Vegas, NV. We are both originally from Michigan and have very little family out here - my mom, step-dad, and brothers do live out here but otherwise the rest of my family and my partners entire family lives in Michigan.

I would really love to have a Vegas wedding -- I love this city! However, I am afraid that a lot of our family could not afford to come out here for a wedding. Should we plan the wedding somewhere closer?

Has anyone ever been in this situation before? Do we put on a wedding here and risk not having a large turn-out, or do a wedding closer to home?
