How do we let people know where we've registered? What's the polite way? I don't want it to seem tacky, like I'm just telling people to go buy us things.
Do I email everyone to let them know? Should it be a job for my best woman? So far my best woman doesn't have much to do except walk me down the aisle during the ceremony. My wife's best woman is helping her with clothing fitting and contacting people for the reception, so perhaps since my best woman isn't being called on to do those things for me, she can do this part? What do you think?

Another way folks often get the message about where an engaged couple is registered is via their showers. Is anyone throwing you a shower? Generally speaking, registry options are included on a shower invitation, but not a wedding invitation.

You can add information about your ceremony and where you are registered and then include that link in an email to your friends or in a letter (if you are sending out additional information regarding the logistics for traveling/accommodations for your wedding weekend).
