Wedding Crasher |
My fiancee and I have decided to have our ceremony on the beach. My question is: If you want to reserve a section for wedding decoration (flowers, archway, etc.) who do you need to speak with? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Michelle |

Hi Michelle-
What a great question! Most public beaches are just that -- "public" -- so I don't imagine that you can really 'reserve' a spot for a wedding. You might, however, work with a resort which as a private chunk of the beach or try to find a private beach somewhere. If you have already decided on your beach, you might find that a local florist will have some good suggestions if they have provided services for a beach wedding in the past. Kathryn |

Thank you so much. I had no idea how to go about getting that taken care of but I figured someone else might.
Thanks, Michelle |

Michelle,
I dont know what state you're in but if you're in CA then try the following site. I just found it recently and it has been pretty helpful for us, you can even mark favortites and sned instant info requests. www.weddingcompass.com Jess |

There are service providers called as Beach Wedding Service Coordinators and you can contact them for wedding decoration. Once you've decided the time and date, confirm the availability to them and they will take care of all your needs. Some packages of these providers include even photographs. I have been adding ideas for my wedding at my wedding registry at http://www.mydreamhomeregistry.com
Have a wonderful beach wedding!! |

You can also work with the Parks and Recreation department of the city you wish to have your beach wedding at. Even though they are public spaces, you can definitely reserve a part of the beach from Parks and Rec.
