My partner and I are tying the not on July 19th. We've been together for almost 11 years now, living together for 10 of those. We certainly don't need any gifts, but we really could use the money. What's the best way to convey this to our guests?

Hi Jesjames71,

My partner and I are tying the knot on June 28/08, and we have been living together for 9 years now. We too are in the same boat, and don't need any gifts, and would prefer money instead so we can put it towards our honeymoon. Cool

The best way is to tell a friend, a parent, or other family member, and hopefully, they will pass it on to other friends, & family etc by word of mouth... It is a no-no to convey this to your guests in your invite. Smiler

Wishing you happy planning and all the best! Cheers!
