Unfortunately, my wedding has come and gone so I can't be much of a "live time" cycle buddy for you folks out there with a fall wedding.

I would like,however, to offer a bit of advice:

If you're on the East or Gulf Coasts, make sure to have a rain plan!

There wasn't a drop of rain all summer (1999) and Hurricane Dennis came to town over Labor Day and hovered over our wedding for its duration. Thankfully we had a rain plan!

And, all's well that ends well. The best compliment we received was from a guest a year or so ago who said, quite innocently as we were re-telling the story, "Wait? It rained at your wedding?"

Guess it didn't turn out so bad after all!
