My girlfriend and I were having a deep meaningful discussion. I was feeling pretty sentimental so I wanted to ask her if she was feeling the same way I was about where our relationship was heading. I was pretty embarrassed to ask her. I hemmed & hawed around a lot.

"I love you very much... and I see this as being a long term thing... not just for... um... a few months or a few years... but ... you know... for the rest of... forever.. the rest of our lives. And I was wondering if you felt the same way?"

She kissed me passionatly. When we parted she said "Yes!" It was amazing!

We haven't set a date yet and haven't even set a date for moving in together, but are deliriously happy! Our friends are alternating between being happy for us and sick to death of how gooey we are with eachother!
