Hi everyone - this looks like a great outlet for all my wedding planning babble - so I can give my poor family and friends a break lol. My name is Tony. My partner, Brian, and I will be legally married (ok, civil unionized or whatever) in NJ on Sept 8, 2007. We are both 35 and live in Fort Lauderdale, FL, but I am from NJ and intended to get married up there to more easily accomodate my family members. It just so happens that about 2 weeks after we announced our engagement, the NJ Supreme court ruled that same sex commitments must be made equal to opposite sex commitments. The law takes effect in February. WOO HOO. It won't be recognized in FL for now, but it certainly means a lot to us.
