Wedding Crasher |
Okay, so almost everything else has been set for the wedding ... but we're having trouble finding something we like for the Grooms' Men. It's an outdoor garden wedding in late October. My kilt is red, William's is blue, and both the Flower Girl and the Grooms' Maids are wearing simple white cotton. Any suggestions would be greatly, greatly appreciated! You can e-mail me at JoshuaEads1984@aol.com.

Hi, Joshua and William,
As I told Kathryn and her partner when they were planning their wedding, the attendants should dress in a special way to set the brides apart, the grooms in this case! No one has to match. If this were a summer wedding, without question, all the attendants could wear white. Possibly this is an alternative even for a fall wedding. The Grooms' Men could wear simple white cotton pants and shirts....a bit flowy and soft like the Grooms' Maids are wearing. This way all your attendants would be this line of soft whiteness to set you two off. Another idea would be to pick up the red and blue you are wearing, perhaps in a tie and a white shirt and darker slacks. Have you considered having your Grooms' Men wear kilts, too, with a soft ruffled white shirt to pick up the theme of the Grooms' Maids? This would look really good, I think, and is my first choice. Will you let me know what you decide and send GayWeddings.com a picture for our Grooms Album? Best Wishes, Gretchen Mother of A Bride |

You can make the choice of wedding dress for groomsmen as taupe colored pants, white shirt & tie with no jacket. It's an outdoor wedding so it deserves a nice causal look. I have been adding ideas for my wedding at my wedding registry at http://www.mydreamhomeregistry.com
You can also make for groomsmen choice as black pants and white shirts with purple and green stitching down the button portion of the shirts. You can keep it crisp yet casual and super comfortable. |
